Abstract

|
Postirradiation angiosarcoma is an extremely rare condition. The authors experienced one case of angiosarcoma which developed on the left lower abdominal skin of the 68 year old woman where she had received total hysterectomy and radiotherapy for carcinoma of the cervix uteri 20 years ago.
The rarity and unfamiliarity of this postirradiation angiosarcoma, which is the late complication of radiation therapy, have prompted a review of cutaneous postirradiation angiosarcoma.
